Imagine living in a home that generates all the energy used within itself by itself – including charging an electric car. A home without gas or electric utility bills. No bills for space heating and cooling, hot water, daily living, and filling up a car. It is being done today and our BrightSense model is cash flow positive from day one.
In theory any home can be turned into a net-zero energy home by simply adding enough photovoltaic (PV) panels. Except that most homes do not have the required roof space for that many panels, and although the price for solar PV has dropped significantly, such a system would still be expensive.
The net-zero energy concept is not new, it is not rocket science, and building a net-zero energy home does not have to cost a fortune.
BrightSense net-zero energy homes are
- taking away the uncertainty of future energy prices and energy shortages
- an easy way to significantly reduce your family’s carbon footprint
- extremely well built using modern materials and modern equipment
- super quiet
- ultra comfortable in every room
BrightSense net-zero energy homes are designed and built for real people with practicality, comfort, and efficiency in mind.
We work with architects, builders, installers, and contractors to achieve the level of energy efficiency, performance, and comfort desired by their clients. Best results are achieved when we get involved right at the beginning of the design phase of the project. Once the design is complete, we help selecting contractors and installers, and during construction provide supervision, guidance, education, and quality control, to ensure the home is built and all systems perform as designed. After completion the systems are performance tested and dialed in during commissioning.
